Affiliate Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your participation in the Mug Spot Australia Affiliate Program (“Program”). By joining, you agree to comply with these terms.

“We,” “us,” or “our” refers to Mug Spot Australia. “You” or “your” means the applicant or affiliate.

2. Program Overview

Our affiliate program enables you to earn commissions by referring customers to mugspot.com.au. Affiliates will earn a commission on qualifying purchases made by users who follow tracked referral links.

3. Eligibility

To participate, you must submit a valid application. We reserve the right to approve or reject applications at our sole discretion. Sites with inappropriate content, including but not limited to hate speech, illegal content, or adult material, will be rejected.

4. Commissions and Payouts

• Default commission: 12% of the sale amount (excluding shipping and taxes)

• Minimum payout threshold: AUD $25

• Payment schedule: Monthly

• Payment methods: PayPal or direct bank transfer (Australia only)

Affiliates are responsible for any applicable taxes under Australian law.

5. Tracking and Cookies

Referrals are tracked using cookies valid for 30 days. If a customer completes a purchase within this window, the referring affiliate will be credited.

6. Prohibited Activities

Affiliates must not engage in any of the following:

• Self-referrals or purchases using your own affiliate link

• Coupon or deal websites without prior approval

• Paid search advertising targeting our branded terms (e.g., “Mug Spot”)

• Misleading, false, or spam-based promotions

7. Promotional Guidelines

You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting Mug Spot products.

Example disclosure:
“As an affiliate, I may earn from qualifying purchases.”

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your participation at any time for violation of these terms or misuse of the Program.

9. Relationship

This agreement does not create any employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship. You operate as an independent affiliate.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Victoria.
